Dario Dezio, chef and owner of Dario’s, is something of a pioneer for Italian cuisine in India.
Surrounded by chefs in his family in his native Sicily, Italy, Dario was encouraged in his creativity from a young age. Having travelled all over the European continent, after completing his studies and training, Dario chose India to pursue his art.
27 years that Dario has been in India! whilst honoring his Italian upbringing; a passion for food, family, culture and effortless style.
Dario joined the Little Italy group in 1996 and set up the chain of Italian restaurants that won over the Indian public from Goa to Ahmedabad, Delhi to Bangalore. He then spent a period consulting for the Intercontinental Hotel group, Mumbai, before returning to Pune. with over 20 years of experience in India, Dario opened his own place in Koregaon Park, Pune, in November 2009.Now dario’s is opened in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with more locations to follow.
